Blackberg is seeking an experienced videographer to support federal clients in telling stories about the impact of their mission and promoting their services to the public. This individual may support multi-media products, including program overviews, testimonial videos, photographic story-telling campaigns, trade show presentations, and animated short videos. The successful candidate will also be able to capture professional photography while onsite.


⁠⁠Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the full video lifecycle, including pre-production, production, and post-productions.
  • Consult clients on video storyboards and production process.
  • Advise clientele on the optimal multi-media product for their given need (i.e., social media reel, video series, or full-length production).
  • Film video on set and on location in diverse environments.
  • Set up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment.
  • Edit footage after recording, taking into account color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, transitions, and overall tone.
  • Incorporate computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects footage.
  • Create video reels and series for social media.
  • Produce “evergreen” video products for Blackberg and clients.
  • Support stop motion and short video animations for events
  • Capture photography of events, onsite processes, and personnel portraits.


⁠⁠Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in videography and visual/digital communications.
  • Experience filming in out-of-studio locations, such as medical facilities or factories.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Preferred experience supporting federal government clientele.
