Blackberg Group is seeking a Management Consultant to join its growing team. We
offer growing opportunities at the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Department of Defense, and Health and Human Services. Specific onsite activities may include leading strategic planning, change management, program analytics, executive presentations, and/or process improvement initiatives. This candidate will also have the opportunity to support the firm’s business development. The successful candidate should have an interest in growing and developing within the management consulting field, be adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit.


⁠Core Responsibilities

  • Develop client deliverables utilizing MS Office suite, such as written reports, executive presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Streamline and mature processes with multiple stakeholders with varied interests.
  • Work with varied data sets, consolidate and update multiple versions, and integrate
    new variables as necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills- ability to be flexible and quickly turn around client asks.
  • Develop visually appealing and evidence-based recommendations, executive summaries, courses of action, and status updates.
  • Clearly communicates conclusions, analytical findings, reporting information and system enhancements to key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. Consultants will interact collaboratively and frequently with a wide range of clients, including senior executive leadership.


⁠Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in management consulting.
  • Ability to foster client relationships through excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience developing compelling written materials and presentations.
  • Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.


⁠Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the public sector, particularly working with senior officials.
  • Experience in federal, state, or commercial business development.
  • Expertise in the healthcare, defense, or Veterans affairs sector.
